Charlie Reid Mohamed is Managing Director of Big Bang Talent. If you have booked through us in the last year or so, the two of you have most likely already spoken. If you have booked through us over the last thirty, you will most certainly have known her husband, Yusef.
Yusef Mohamed was Big Bang’s lead agent for more than thirty years, and stepped up as Managing Director when Steve Markbride, who founded the agency in 1986 and built it into one of the biggest names in entertainment, retired.
Charlie was never far from any of it. Years spent living and breathing Big Bang alongside Yusef: out at events across the circuit, hands on with the diary and on first-name terms with most of the roster long before she took the chair.
Charlie’s management experience from outside the entertainment industry brings fresh set of eyes on a business that’s been doing things a certain way for decades.
It shows. Since taking over, Charlie has led one of the biggest rebuilds in the agency’s history. A new brand. A new website. New categories on the roster, and plenty of new talent joining the BBT family. Not to mention new relationships with festivals, holiday parks, students’ unions, brand events and more.
Big Bang has been a force in this industry for over forty years, through more chapters than most agencies ever get, and now, with Charlie’s drive and determination behind it, there are plenty more to come.
