Reece Donnelly

Reece Donnelly is a Scottish actor, entrepreneur and television personality best known for his appearance on Series 17 of BBC One’s The Apprentice in 2023, where he set out to become the first Scottish candidate to win Lord Sugar’s investment. Scouted at primary school, he landed his first professional role at seven on CBeebies’ Carrie and David’s Popshop before joining the cast of BBC drama Waterloo Road, and has since appeared in national advertising campaigns and Nickelodeon voiceover work. After graduating with a BA in Drama from the University of Sunderland, he founded the Theatre School of Scotland in 2017 and the Theatre College of Scotland shortly after, becoming the youngest college owner in the UK at the time. His students have gone on to secure roles with Disney, Netflix and the BBC, and the school has since expanded to four Scottish locations. A Young Scot Awards finalist with a genuine story of building something from nothing, Reece is a natural fit for corporate events, awards ceremonies, motivational speaking and business audiences.
