Tomara Thomas is a drag performer, professional dancer and television personality from Hartlepool, County Durham, who first began performing in drag at the age of fourteen at dance school in the North East. After training at Urdang Academy in London and touring the world as a professional dancer on cruise ships, she relaunched her drag career during lockdown and quickly built a reputation on the London club and brunch scene for her explosive high-energy sets, splits, high kicks and comedic flair. Her breakthrough came on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 5 on BBC Three in 2023, where she finished third, won the Girl Groups maxi challenge and delivered some of the series’ most memorable moments. In May 2023 she performed in the interval act at the Eurovision Song Contest semi-final in Liverpool, reaching a global audience of millions. Since Drag Race she has appeared on ITV’s Lorraine, competed on BBC Three’s Ranked and built a following of over 120,000 on Instagram. A genuine showperson with infinite energy and a live presence that fills any room.
