Big Bang Talent has been booking club night acts since 1986, and in that time we have supplied talent for just about every kind of night a promoter can put on. A commercial floor-filler and an old school trance night are two very different bookings, and the act that lands one can be wrong for the other. Our roster is built to cover the full range. Below is a look at the main types of club night, with a name from our roster suited to each. In every category, we represent more artists than the one featured.
Commercial club nights: Vengaboys
Commercial nights run on instant, sing-along recognition, the names a mixed crowd knows without being told. Vengaboys are a textbook example. The Dutch group’s late-90s run included the UK number ones “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!” and “We’re Going to Ibiza”, part of an estimated 25 million records sold worldwide, and they remain one of Europe’s most in-demand party acts. For a night built to fill a floor fast, this is the category.
Old school trance: Maria Rubia
Old school trance nights want the euphoric vocal anthems of the era. Maria Rubia, a recent and exclusive addition to our roster, is the voice behind Fragma’s “Everytime You Need Me”, a UK number 3 with over 86 million streams and more than 52 million video views. A platinum-charting vocalist who has shared festival stages with the likes of Michael Jackson and Jennifer Lopez, she brings a live vocal PA that a trance crowd recognises from the first bar.
Classic house: K-Klass
For a classic house night, credibility matters as much as the name, and K-Klass have both. The Wrexham group broke through with “Rhythm Is a Mystery”, a UK number 3 and a piano house anthem, followed by “Let Me Show You” and five UK top 40 hits. They went on to become one of the country’s most respected remix acts, with an International Dance Award for Remixer of the Year and a Grammy nomination. Decades on, they still fill house floors here and in Ibiza.
Diva house: Livin’ Joy
Diva house is the soulful, vocal-led side of the house sound, and few acts define it better than Livin’ Joy. They are behind two of the decade’s biggest anthems: “Dreamer”, a UK number 1, and “Don’t Stop Movin'”, a UK number 5, both euphoric, piano-led vocal house built for a big room. As a live vocal PA rather than a DJ set, they bring that anthem energy straight to a house floor.
90s retro dance: N-Trance
90s retro is one of the strongest draws on the circuit right now, and it calls for the anthems that defined the decade. N-Trance have a catalogue of them: “Set You Free”, the biggest-selling dance single of 1995, and their number 2 dancefloor cover of “Stayin’ Alive”, among 14 UK charting singles and over 6 million records sold. Their live show, still touring today, is built for exactly this kind of night.
Double up for a mega line-up

We can also mix formats. A DJ to hold the floor across the night, with a live vocal PA dropped in at peak time, gives you both the sustained energy of a set and the moment of a live performance. It is one of the most effective ways to structure a club night, and we can supply both sides of it from the one roster.
