Big Bang Talent made its name on personal appearances: reality and soap stars, DJs and singers. But events have changed, and so has the roster. A modern booking is now as likely to be a magician, an influencer, a drag headliner or a content creator as it is a face from the telly. Over the past year in particular, we have signed across all of these categories. This is a look at the alternative entertainment now on the Big Bang roster, and what each brings to an event.
Magicians
Magic has moved well beyond the after-dinner slot, and both of our magicians are television names with serious social followings. Joel M, real name Joel Mawhinney, is a magician and mentalist who spent three years as a Blue Peter presenter, has fronted his own BBC show, and appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2026. Dan Rhodes is one of the most-followed magicians in the world, a Britain’s Got Talent finalist whose family-friendly act suits everything from holiday parks to corporate events and theatre. Two very different styles, both built for a modern audience.
Influencers
Influencer bookings are one of the fastest-growing areas in live events, and they bring something a traditional name cannot: a large, engaged and often international following that turns out online as well as through the door. Bre Tiesi, the US television personality best known for Netflix’s Selling Sunset, is an option for brands and events looking to bring genuine international profile to a UK appearance.
Drag
Drag is now a mainstream booking, for club nights, Pride events, cabaret and corporate alike, and we opened the category with a headliner. Tomara Thomas is a RuPaul’s Drag Race UK finalist who finished third on Series 5, performed in the interval act at the Eurovision Song Contest semi-final in Liverpool, and is a trained professional dancer known for explosive, high-energy live sets. It is a category we are actively growing.
Hosts and presenters
Every event needs someone to hold it together, and a strong host does far more than read an autocue. Our roster covers the range. Coleen Nolan, from The Nolans and ITV’s Loose Women, brings decades of warmth and recognition to daytime, Q&A and awards formats. Simon Gross, known as “Showbiz Simon”, is a six-decade entertainer who is entirely at home working a room. Maria Rubia is a platinum-charting vocalist who is also a working TV presenter and showbiz reporter. And Nick Marshall is a professional host, presenter and event DJ who works festivals, sport and live events across the UK.
Content creators
Content creators sit somewhere between influencer and presenter, and they bring a booking that keeps working long after the night itself, through the content they make around it. Dylan Evans, a Liverpool presenter and content creator with over two million TikTok followers, is known for his comedy and has presented for the likes of the Brits red carpet on TikTok. A strong fit for brand activations, launches and any event that wants reach and content built in.
Viral sensations
Some names arrive fully formed from the internet, with an audience already in place. Ibiza Final Boss is the viral nightlife personality turned booked DJ and PA, with a large online following and instant recognition among a younger crowd. A booking for club nights, student events and brand activations where reach and of-the-moment relevance matter as much as the appearance itself.
